The festival is also known as Easter Day, Easter Sunday, Resurrection Day and Resurrection Sunday.
The Festival is commemorated in two parts the first is the religious part and the second is the Feasting part.
Both center around doing the right thing and sharing this special time with our loved ones … it is a time to serve those we love for the spirit of Easter … for God is love.

Easter Parade is a 1948 American musical starring Judy Garland and Fred Astaire featuring music by Irving Berlin, including some of Astaire and Garland’s best-known songs, such as “Easter Parade”, “Steppin’ Out with My Baby”, and “We’re a Couple of Swells”.
It was the most financially successful picture for both Garland and Astaire as well as the highest-grossing musical of the year.

These sweet buns are nicely spiced with ground cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, and cloves, and are studded with currants (raisins) and candied fruit.

Simply take some Pillsbury Crescent Rolls and shape into an adorable bunny. Place a single raisin for the eye and bake according to directions.
For a spectacular presentation, place inside a lace lined wicker basket and dress up each rolls with a red ribbon!
